Is a marriage, a parent, or a child a real life here, or just a prop?

Aziz Ansari's picture puts an angel, played by Keanu Reeves, between a man living out of his car between gigs and a man who does not have to. The swap is an old fable, and it is the right fable for a thirteen-year-old who is beginning to notice who brings the package and who orders it. Whether the film keeps its nerve past the jokes is something you can judge in the room. The subject is clean enough to try.

Watch it together. Ask which life in the swap still has a neighbor.

The eight

  1. Industry

    7/10

Gig work is shown as work. That is already more than most comedies allow.

  2. Household

    4/10

Lives, not families. The swap is the household test.

  3. Piety

    4/10

An angel, played lightly. The joke does not quite sneer at the idea of a charge.

  4. Courage

    5/10

Telling a rich man the truth about the other life.

  5. Republic

    6/10

The city is divided by who can stop working. The film notices.

  6. Temperance

    5/10

A comedy. Comfort is the temptation it is describing.

  7. Truth

    6/10

It is trying to say that the easy life is not the true one. Hold it to that.

  8. Stewardship

    6/10

The question of what you owe the person whose job you find inconvenient.

Cheaper by the Dozen

54Or leave it.Not an average of critics. Eight questions, one house.

The children are the point, and the job is not. Slapstick, and the priority is right.

Can conscience actually stop someone, or is reverence only in the shot so it can be mocked?

Tom Baker coaches and lectures and is proud of a large family, and then he takes a schedule that makes him a visitor in it. The comedy is chaos, sometimes cheap, sometimes at a child's expense for the laugh. The spine is not cheap: a house with twelve children requires a parent who is in it, and a career that will not fit must lose. Kate is not a prop. She is the other adult keeping the thing alive.

A family can watch it and should say when a joke is only embarrassment. Keep the ending's choice. A large table is not a brand. It is a labor, and someone has to prefer it to the spotlight.

    None.

He has to quit the flattering job.

  5. Republic

    4/10

A team, a town. The public is the temptation.

  7. Truth

    6/10

The children tell him he has been gone. They are right.

  8. Stewardship

    7/10
