Bates Motel
A picture of a bond that calls itself love and functions as a prison.
If you watch any of it, watch for the distinction it forces: staying with a parent is not always fidelity. Norman needed a town, a father, a limit. He got a motel and a secret. The series is too long and too fond of the secret. The distinction is still true.
