The page

Design

The desk is a printed page that happens to be a screen. Paper, ink, a serif for the name, and a number you can argue with. Anything else has to earn its place by changing the evening.

Paper

The page is paper and ink. A border is a line drawn on that page. A shadow says the thing is floating. This desk does not float.

The name is Newsreader. The sentence is Libre Franklin. The Guide is the one object allowed to look like a mailed magazine, because it is one.

Before it ships

  1. What on the evening changes?
  2. Can the label say that, without a second sentence?
  3. Is it paper, ink, and a serif for the name?
  4. Would a person at the table understand it without a tour?

The number is on the Living Meter. How a person changes is on Character. The letters are on Type.
