The desk.

Mission

Teach a household to see what a story is doing before the evening is spent. Eight measures: work, a home, conscience, courage, a duty to neighbors, temperance, a word that binds, and something left after you. Stories, not blood.

Help

• Search from the top of the ledger. A picture should appear beside the name.
• The eight films play on Watch and download from the shop. They are free.
• The Guild seat, the gift month, and the reserved tickets live on this device. Clearing the browser clears them.
• A score is an opinion of the story. It is not a ban, a rating from the state, or a promise that a service still carries the title.

Terms

Use the desk for a household, a classroom, or your own evening. Do not scrape it to sell the scores as if you wrote them. The films on this site are original. Other titles belong to their makers; we link out, we do not stream their pictures. Nothing here is an offer of stock.

Privacy

The Guild name, votes, seats, profiles, and commonplace stay in this browser. They are not an account on a server. Do not put a child’s full name in a profile if this device is shared with people you do not trust.

The charter

The business case for a nonprofit charter of the desk, and a short film of the rooms. Papers of the house. Not a stock offering, and not a tax determination.
