Leave it. Endless running is a picture of a day with no arrival.

The picture, if you look at it, is a boy running from the law through a city that never becomes a place. Children do not look at it. They feel the speed. Speed with no arrival is a poor rehearsal for a life.

There are games on this shelf where a day ends and a farm is still there in the morning. If they want to run, they can run outside.

Leave it out of a child's hand. A teenager who plays needs you to have watched one match and set an end.

This is not Fortnite's bright costume party. It is closer to a war. Some older teenagers will play it with friends no matter what a page says. The page can still say the truth: it rehearses shooting people, and the voices in the lobby are often foul.

Not for a nine-year-old. Not for a thirteen-year-old without a parent who has heard a match. No spending. A time, then it is off.
