SpongeBob SquarePants

Work and a friend, wrapped in a joke that got harsher as it went.

The early episodes are a defense of being glad to make the burger and glad to see your friend. That is a better children's comedy than the market produced around it. It does not know when to stop, and the later voice is a yell. Keep the early gladness. Do not let the yell be the house tone.

Are You Afraid of the Dark?

A campfire. The frame matters: they are together, and the story ends.

The Midnight Society is the good part. Children practice telling and listening, and the dark is a story with a boundary. Individual tales vary from clever to cheap. Keep the boundary. If a tale is only cruel, end the night there.

The eight

    3/10

    The telling is the craft.
