Answer the post with the measure.
These are the American promotional accounts for the companies already on this desk, and the reviewers whose posts actually move a title. Paste what they wrote. The desk looks for a title it has already scored. If it finds one, it drafts the reply. It does not post it.
The hour
This is the order. It runs once an hour. It does not post until an X account for this desk is connected. Until then it leaves the reply and the card ready.
- Read every handle on this page. Search X for posts from those accounts in the last hour only. Skip reposts with no words of their own.
- Name the title the way the box below does. A whole name. A one-word title only if it is quoted or at least eight letters. The longer name wins. If no scored or nameable title is in the post, stop. Do not guess.
- If this desk has already measured it, use that review. Do not write a second one.
- If it has not been measured, read a published synopsis. Score it only when the public story can carry eight measures, a verdict, two paragraphs, and one charge. If the story is too thin, leave it and say so. Do not invent the plot.
- Write the reply in one post. Name them. Give the score. Give one sentence of the verdict. Link to the review on Live Historic.
- Make the card. A square. Their poster in the middle. The Living Meter in a ring around it, forest green on a paper track, starting at the left. The score in a green badge on the ring. The words Live Historic under the ring, small. No other slogan.
- Attach that card to the reply so the preview is the meter, not a bare poster. One reply to a post. Never a second reply to the same post. Never a reply to a house that did not name a title.
How a title gets named
- Paste the post, or the link to it. A link to a status also keeps the reply attached to that post.
- The desk looks for a scored title as a whole name, not a piece of one. A one-word title has to be in quotes, or at least eight letters, so “It” and “Up” do not fire on ordinary sentences.
- If two names are in the post, the longer one wins. “The Lord of the Rings” beats a shorter title sitting inside it.
- A post counts as promotion when it also says the thing is streaming, in theaters, a trailer, a premiere, a season, or out now. A bare mention is still answerable. It is marked as a mention, not a push.
- The reply is the score, one sentence of the verdict, and the link to the review. You send it.
