The Nanny
A warm, loud courtship. The joke is class, and the joke gets old before the marriage does.
Fran Fine is competent with children and relentless about being seen. Maxwell is a widower learning to live in his own kitchen. The show wants them married, and that want is decent. It also wants every scene to land on a double meaning.
Fine for adults who already know what they think of that. Not the one to leave running for a ten-year-old.
