Minions

A search for someone to obey, and the someone is a villain. The laugh is the whole content.

Minions is a comedy about followers who will serve any villain as long as the villain is large. Children laugh at the voices. The structure is not neutral: loyalty without a standard is the joke, and it is also the lesson. The Rise of Gru continues it. You can skip the whole yellow row and the child will not be poorer. If it is already beloved, say the missing sentence: they never ask whether the master is good.

White Chicks

A long cruel joke. Leave it off the shelf.

The premise needs the audience to enjoy two men mocking women, and to enjoy a racial costume, for almost two hours. A kidnapping plot is stapled on so the film can claim to be a case. It is not a case. It is a sketch that refused to end.

Do not put it on for children. Do not put it on to be generous about an old comedy. There are funnier films that do not require this.
