The Twilight Zone
A moral in a tight half hour. Some of the morals have aged. The form has not.
Serling thought television could carry a parable if you kept it short and did not lie about the ending. A man wants status, safety, or to be left alone, and the zone gives him the thing in a form he cannot live with.
Watch one episode, then say the moral in a sentence before you start another. If you cannot say it, you used it as atmosphere.
