Scream Queens

Meanness as comedy. Leave it.

The joke is that everyone is awful and the awful get picked off. If you already dislike that joke, the show has nothing else. It will not sneak a conscience in under the gag.

There is enough of this voice in a school hallway. Do not subscribe to it.

Helluva Boss

Hell as a workplace comedy. The joke needs the blasphemy. Skip it.

It is not ambiguous and it does not need a long review. Demons, sex jokes, and a hit job are the show. The fact that it is well drawn does not change the offering. Keep it away from the house.
