Pass it on
Moonstruck
58Watch it awake.
Family, food, and the neighborhood, in a comedy that still believes those are the point.
The review
Moonstruck is the Italian shelf's comedy, and it is warmer than it is strict. The table is a real table. The grandfather is a real authority. The moral arithmetic of who is engaged to whom is treated lightly, which is the film's limit. It still knows that a person in that neighborhood is not an individual with options. They are somebody's daughter.
Fine for adults. Enjoy the house. Do not take the romantic tangle as wisdom.

The glance
Piety is the thin one.
Can conscience actually stop someone, or is reverence only in the shot so it can be mocked?
This phone is set for a grown person, just me. Change the ages.
Consider this
Groundhog Day
69 instead of 58
Groundhog Day is still a comedy film, and it scores 69 instead of 58. What you gain is stewardship: It hands you the same Tuesday as a place to practice.
