Adults have heard worse, and a review that clutches its pearls at a pop song is not doing its job. The job is to say what a child actually meets. In the first twenty seconds the camera is on bodies. The words can stay mysterious. The picture does not.

It is near the top of the most-watched list, so a parent searching that list will find it and wonder if we skipped the obvious. We did not. It can exist in the world. It does not belong between the bath song and the bus in a queue a child can start. Skip it when it comes up. You do not owe a billion views your living room.

The picture is a family of sharks, pink and cheerful, and a chorus that names them one by one: baby, mommy, daddy, grandma, grandpa. A toddler learns the hands. That is the whole work of the video, and it is why this is the most-watched thing on YouTube rather than a secret. One play will not harm anybody.

The trouble is the machine around the song. It ends and another one is already sitting in the corner, same faces, same pace. Sing the six sharks once, badly, in the actual room, so a person they know has the words. Then pick a song that stops and stays stopped. If the only family present that afternoon is the cartoon one, you have left the room.
