Pass it on
John Adams
81Living historically.
A republic argued in kitchens and congresses. One of the few series that treats the founding as a marriage and a duty.
The review
This is the English-American political inheritance without costume sweetness. Adams is proud, often wrong about France and about his friends, and right that a republic is laws and not a crowd. Abigail keeps the house and the standard. The children are not props. One of them does not turn out well, and the series lets that stand.
Watch it in order. Stop after an episode and read the letter they just filmed. The point is not to feel inspired. The point is to see what a public life costs a kitchen.

The glance
Piety is the thin one.
Can conscience actually stop someone, or is reverence only in the shot so it can be mocked?
This phone is set for a grown person, just me. Change the ages.
