Tonight
Ten for the evening
One to ten. Newest, most watched, highest on the Living Meter. Prime, Disney+, Hulu, Hallmark, Acorn, and Netflix.
Another father on the road. The love is real. The corpses are the sales pitch.
A man who will not abandon a runaway daughter is a man this desk can recognize. Harlan Coben's machinery then does what it always does: multiplies the bodies until the daughter is a clue. Watch the father's refusal. Do not let the plot teach the house that love looks like a thriller.
Adults only. If you watch it, stop when you can say what he owes her, and do not stay for the next reveal.

Live historicallyIf a young person in your life has gone quiet, go find them in person. Do not send a longer message.
A too-fast marriage, played for comedy, with a job and a child already in the room. Growing up is the plot.
Georgie was the charming brother who got a girl pregnant and then, surprisingly, stayed. This series is about the staying: a job, a mother-in-law, a wife who is sharper than the setup. It is a sitcom, so the growth arrives on a timer.
Better than another universe where the young man leaves. Watch it as a picture of a start that was too soon, not as proof that too soon is romantic.

Live historicallyIf someone in your house is playing at being grown, hand them one real bill and sit with them while they pay it.
An adult voice, a book, a child listening. Use it once, then read a book yourself.
This is not a new story. It is famous people reading the stories the series already told, which are stories about a mother, a father, and two girls at play. A read-aloud is a good form. A celebrity is not required for it, and the desk will not pretend the celebrity is the good.
Put it on if it gets a child to be still for a book. Then you do the next one. The measure is the lap and the last page, not the name under the title.

A code, a competence, no address. Justice as a hobby does not build a town.
Reacher notices a wrong and will not let it go. In a catalog of ironic cowards, that is refreshing, and you should admit it. He is also a fantasy of never having to stay. No house, no parish, no tedious meeting where your neighbor disagrees with you and you still have to live next door.
A republic is made of men who remain. A drifter with a code can stop a bully and cannot raise a town. Enjoy the competence. Do not envy the emptiness. The man worth copying is the one who is still there on Thursday, not the one who wins and catches the next bus.
Industry

The family is still in the house. The triangle is what the film wants you to watch.
The first film had a house in it. This one remembers the house and then leaves it to go stand in the snow with a boy from camp. Jealousy is a real feeling. It is a bad teacher. A story that keeps a girl unsure on purpose, so the audience can enjoy the suspense, is using her.
If the sisters or the father get a scene, stay for that scene. The rest is a delay. You do not become more faithful by rehearsing the other option in public.
Industry

Live historicallyStop entertaining a second option you do not mean to choose. Say the true thing once, and let it stand.
The baby is the charge, not the prop. A good quest for a family that can take a witch and a battle.
Willow is not the chosen warrior. He is the person nearest the infant, which is a better qualification. The journey collects a rogue, a sorceress, and a war, and some of the magic is darker than a small child needs. The spine stays simple. An empire that hunts a baby is wrong. A farmer who keeps walking is right. Size is not the measure of the guardian.
Watch it with the lights up enough to talk. When it is over, the question is not who had the sword. It is who held the child when holding her made them a target.

Keep it. A private wound is not a reason to sit out the fight.
Rick's neutrality is a costume for a hurt. Ilsa did not leave for a whim, and the film is adult enough to say so without making either of them a villain of the heart. The letters of transit are a public good disguised as a plot device. When he gives them up, he is not choosing loneliness as a style. He is putting a marriage and a resistance ahead of a feeling that was real and is no longer his to spend.
Watch it with anyone old enough to understand a goodbye. Then refuse the poster version, where the love is the point. The love is the test. The point is that he gets on the right side of a war.

A mystery that ends in a fact about a real animal. The agents are children, and the fact survives them.
The Creature Cases dresses a nature documentary as a detective story. The detectives are young, which is the concession to the shelf, and the answer is a real behavior, which is the part worth keeping. Better than a fantasy that resets. Watch one, then look the animal up in a book so the episode is not the only source.

Helping is the job. The film believes it. The toys are the reason it exists.
Chase is afraid of the city that failed him, and the film does not mock the fear or skip the work. They are puppies with vehicles, which is a commercial. They are also a picture of a team where each one has a task and the task is getting people out of trouble. Adventure City's mayor is a fraud of cheer. The dogs are the ones who show up.
A small child already knows these characters. You will not purify that. You can watch with them and praise the part where someone scared still does the job.

Lawful work at a border. Respect the work. Do not make the officer's day a thrill.
National Geographic follows border and customs teams as they search cars, containers, and luggage. The work is inspection, patience, and a legal limit: not everyone is guilty, and the ones who are may be carrying someone else's misery. The show can slide into a highlight reel of busts. The better hours show the boring search that protects a public the travelers will never meet.
Adults and older teens. It is not a toy. Say that a border is a form of stewardship — a people deciding what enters — and that a person in the line is still a person. Both sentences.
