Marvel's Spider-Man

The responsibility story, told as a school week. Solid for an older child.

This telling stays closer to the student than the universe. There are classes, a friend who is smarter, an aunt who is not a prop, and a city that keeps having ordinary emergencies. The villains multiply, as they do. The measure is whether Peter pays for the night out of his day, in sleep and in trust.

Use it when a child is old enough for a fight and young enough to still have a bedtime you set. The creed, if you say it yourself, is that a gift is for the person who is not you.
