The Lion King II: Simba's Pride
The son of the murdered king and the daughter of the murderer are not allowed to inherit the feud.
Find on IMDbDisney+
A feud refused by the children. Smaller than the first film, and serious about it.
Kiara is Simba's daughter. Kovu is raised by Scar's remnant to finish the killing. The film is a Romeo story in which the right ending is not a double death but a pride that will not make the next generation finish the last one's war. Simba's overprotection is understandable and costly. Zira's hatred is the villainy, and it is a parent's villainy.
Good for a child who knows the first film. Ask whether anyone in the house is handing a grudge down as if it were an heirloom. If it is, stop.
