Hocus Pocus 2

A costume party with a sister theme glued on. Not the first one's bite, and not a household.

The original was a Halloween comedy about three predators and the children who stopped them. The sequel is a reunion. Teenagers dabble, the Sandersons mug, and a lesson about sisters is delivered because the calendar asked for a moral. Camp is allowed. Camp that thinks a callback is a story is how a holiday turns into a product.

Fine for a teenager who already loves the first and can hear that the witches are still not role models. Not for a small child. If the only pleasure is the costume, wear a costume and skip the film.

The eight

  1. Industry

    2/10

No work. A ritual done as a dare.

  2. Household

    4/10

Friends, and a speech about sisters. The house is thin.

  3. Piety

    2/10

Magic as a prank. The old warning is diluted.

  4. Courage

    4/10

They try to fix what they woke.

  5. Republic

    3/10

A town as a set for a comeback.

  6. Temperance

    4/10

    Nostalgia is the appetite.

  7. Truth

    4/10

It remembers the witches are dangerous, then asks you to miss them.

  8. Stewardship

    3/10

A sequel handing on a sequel.
