Digger
The joke is the costume. The shelf of ice is the bill.
Digger Rockwell is told the Greenland field can break loose an ice shelf the size of a country. He drills. A president helps him keep it quiet and hopes the thing will melt in the Atlantic instead of hitting Europe. Then a stagehand walks into the frame, and the hour was a play called Fossil Fools, put on about a disaster that, in the world of the film, already happened. Five years later the man is exiled to a rig and cut off.
This is a first measure from the public account. The twist is not the moral. The moral is the shelf. A house can laugh at the accent. Do not leave thinking the joke paid the coast.
The eight
Industry
3/10
Drilling past the warning is not a craft. It is taking, with a scientist in the room saying stop.
Household
4/10
He ends on a rig with whoever did not leave. The mansion was a set.
Piety
2/10
Nothing in the public story binds him to anything older than the next barrel.
Courage
4/10
The actor finishes the rehearsal. The man in the story does not tell the public.
Republic
3/10
A president and an oil man agree the coast does not need to know.
Temperance
5/10
The satire names the greed. It is also very pleased with its own noise.
Truth
7/10
The first hour is a performance. The picture does say so, and it says the disaster was real.
Stewardship
2/10
An ice shelf is sent at other people's cities. No one on that coast was asked.
Live historicallyName one cost this house is hiding from the people who would pay it.
