Lanterns
The power is not the point. The dead in the town are.
Hal Jordan and John Stewart come to Rushville because a killing looks, to Hal, like it did not start on Earth. The season also looks back from a later year in which Hal himself is dead. The public frame is two men, one of them new, and a ring that makes force easy, set down in a town with a sheriff and a body. This measure does not name a killer the recaps do not agree on.
What is firm is the order of the goods. A weapon that can do anything is a temptation to skip the town. The season is worth the sitting if the town stays the point. If the ring becomes the point, the measure drops.

The eight
Industry
7/10
They have a job, and the job is a murder, not a sky.
Household
5/10
The public story is a partnership. A house is hinted in the childhoods and not yet the center.
Piety
5/10
The ring is an oath. Whether they keep it is the question the season is built to ask.
Courage
7/10
They stay in a small town that would rather they did not.
Republic
7/10
A dead person in Rushville is the case. The town is the people, not the backdrop.
Temperance
6/10
The ring could end the argument. The better hours are the ones where they do not.
Truth
6/10
A killing has a cause. The season, finished, is about whether they will say it.
Stewardship
6/10
What John does with the oath after Hal is the thing the last hours are for.
Live historicallyWhen this house can force an ending, wait one day and find out what happened first.
